We have been working hard and it is so satisfying.
So far:
- Kyle and Caleb have assisted a roofer from another team put new metal sheeting on the AICM office roof.
- Robert, Ken and Richard have helped build shelving for storage and a workbench for the maintenance shed.
- The rest of the team has painted the walls, trim and doors in one of the largest dorms; so far we have completed the living room, laundry room, hall...
- Caleb has also become a master electrician, and installed lighting in the living room and laundry room. We couldn't be more proud.
The first two days of VBS we have had 38 children and they love music with Annie, skits with Kara, Emily, Taryn, Shannon, Caleb, but I think crafts have been the favorite, the more complicated the better. The children have been sharing some of their stories with us and we feel so privileged to listen.
